BEATWAVE Terms of Service

The rules for using the game, accounts and purchases.

Platform status

BEATWAVE is available as a Toss mini app. Its game account and purchase-related Toss sign-in are separate. Available products and features are shown in the app. Publishing the app or these terms does not mean that every real-money purchase or ad reward has completed live validation.

As checked on 3 October 2026, iOS 1.0 is public in South Korea. Build 39 has no ads or tracking; 1.0.1 with optional rewarded ads is under review. Anonymous guest accounts can use basic play, purchases, restore and the mailbox without registering a name or email; Google or Apple sign-in is optional. Purchases are unavailable in device-only mode when the account server cannot be reached. The payment-server connection and Sandbox purchase/grant tests have been checked, but live commercial transactions and physical-device purchase/restore checks for new guest accounts have not yet been fully verified.

1. Scope and operator

These terms apply to BEATWAVE, the rhythm game provided by NINE TO SIX LAB. Features, sign-in and payment methods may differ between the web playtest, ONEstore and Google Play Android versions, iOS version and Toss mini app. These terms do not apply to other NINE TO SIX LAB games.

Check the platform and purchase screen for the features, product contents, price and duration actually offered. Personal-information processing that requires separate consent follows the BEATWAVE privacy notice.

2. Accounts and use of the service

Toss uses a game-specific identifier to connect your game account. If you choose purchases, purchase restoration or purchase-account linking, Toss sign-in and a BEATWAVE-specific user identifier are used separately. Basic play on the existing game account is available without agreeing to link the purchase account. This is separate from Android Google sign-in. We do not guarantee that accounts, progress or products automatically merge or transfer between platforms.

Do not use another person’s account without permission or share login tokens. You may refuse consent needed for account linking; features requiring that link may then be unavailable. The Toss basic game account and iOS guest account follow their platform-specific rules. Paid purchases by minors require legal-representative consent where applicable law requires it. Statutory rights, including cancellation of a contract made without required consent, are not restricted.

On iOS, an anonymous guest account or optional Google/Apple sign-in identifies the account, and authentication sessions are stored in the device Keychain. Login information, game records and service providers follow the iOS privacy notice.

3. Gameplay and fair operation

The game provides music play, score records, in-game resources and cosmetic features. Play credits and game items are rights to use features inside the game, not products for which the operator promises cash exchange or investment returns.

Falsifying scores, purchases or rewards, repeatedly exploiting errors for grants, attacking the service or interfering with other players is prohibited. When a violation is confirmed, related records may be corrected or use may be restricted to the necessary extent. We explain the reason and how to raise an objection. Rights concerning legitimate purchases remain protected by applicable law.

4. Paid products and payments

A purchase is made only after you check the displayed price, quantity, duration and delivery conditions and authorize payment. A product being called a monthly pass does not itself mean consent to recurring payment. If an automatically renewing product is offered, the billing cycle and cancellation method are explained before purchase.

In Toss, you may purchase only products shown in the app for which the payment process is available. Describing a product on the website or publishing these terms does not charge you. Payment-method information such as card or bank-account details is handled by the payment platform.

If payment succeeds but an item is not delivered, or a transaction appears duplicated, contact us with the platform, product, order identifier and time instead of repeatedly purchasing the item. We check the payment and delivery records and explain the appropriate restoration or refund procedure.

On iOS, check the price, product type and renewal conditions in Apple’s purchase screen. The server checks purchase, subscription and refund status and updates entitlements. A product listing or these terms alone does not create a purchase.

5. Withdrawal, refunds and subscription cancellation

Statutory consumer rights take priority. Refunds and withdrawal are considered together with the payment platform’s process and the product’s use and delivery status. We do not reject every refund merely because a product was used, and we do not promise that every refund will be approved. Restrictions on withdrawal apply only when legal requirements and advance-notice requirements are met.

App Store: use the app’s subscription-management link or iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Follow Apple’s cancellation guide and refund-request guide. Approval depends on the transaction and applicable rules.

ONEstore: see the refund, TxID and subscription information in the privacy notice and ONEstore’s refund guide (Korean).

Toss mini app: check the payment provider on the receipt and use Apple’s refund process or Google Play’s refund process as appropriate. You may also contact BEATWAVE support to check an order or item delivery.

Uninstalling, signing out or unlinking sign-in is not a payment cancellation or refund request. Cancel automatic renewal separately in the payment platform’s subscription settings. If a refund is confirmed, entitlements granted by that purchase may be revoked or adjusted.

6. Unlinking and ending use

To unlink Toss sign-in, open Toss Settings → Authentication and security → Services signed in with Toss, then select BEATWAVE. Unlinking and deleting server records are separate. Contact support for withdrawal or record deletion; we request only the minimum information needed to identify the account and explain the result.

Before deletion, we check records that cannot be recovered, remaining paid entitlements, pending purchases/refunds and records that must be retained by law. We do not delete records of other NINE TO SIX LAB apps. Authenticated Toss unlinking or consent-withdrawal notifications are connected to terminate the affected purchase account’s login sessions. Game-record deletion still requires a separate request. End-to-end live-user unlinking/session-termination validation has not yet been completed.

iOS: open My Account → Delete BEATWAVE Account, review the deletion scope and subscription information, and submit the request in the app. No separate email or phone call is required, and guest accounts can also request deletion. The operating standard is manual processing within seven days of receipt. A linked email receives completion notice; guests without email can check the request number and status in My Account. Check the request number, deadline and status to confirm receipt. Deletion is not immediate or automatic. Requests are accepted even with an active subscription. See the deletion guide for Apple sign-in revocation and separately retained legal records.

7. Changes, maintenance and service closure

When maintenance or a feature change is needed, we announce its scope and expected time in the app or on the website. If advance notice is difficult, such as an urgent outage, we explain the reason and impact afterward. If a paid service closes, we separately announce procedures for unused rights and refunds.

Changes to these terms are announced with the contents, reason and effective date before taking effect. Unfavourable changes receive sufficient review time; separate consent is obtained where required by law. These terms do not exclude liability for the operator’s intentional acts or negligence, or statutory consumer rights.

8. Contact and disputes

Operator: NINE TO SIX LAB. Contact: ysmilk01@gmail.com. Include the platform, issue and necessary order identifier. Do not send passwords, authentication tokens or full card numbers. Enquiries and handling records are managed under the privacy notice.

If a dispute cannot be resolved by discussion, the parties may use mediation procedures or a court with jurisdiction under applicable law. Matters not specified here follow applicable laws of the Republic of Korea and the relevant platform’s terms.
